On the afternoon of August 26th, STI Vietnam Co., Ltd. collaborated with the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Science and Technology to conduct the acceptance testing for a provincial-level science and technology project.“Building a model for improving productivity and quality based on the application of productivity improvement systems, standards, tools, and scientific, technological, and innovative solutions for businesses in Gia Lai province.”
The project is bySTI is the lead implementer.Over a two-year period, the goal is to support local businesses in improving their management capabilities, streamlining production processes, and effectively implementing advanced management systems.
After the implementation process, the project was successfully completed.24 point modelsin businesses across various sectors. These models focus on:Implementing the ISO quality management system., 5S improvement tools, LeanKaizen, etc., helps businesses:
- Optimizing the production process.
- Improve the quality of products and services.
- Reduce costs and minimize waste.
- Increase labor productivity and competitiveness.
The acceptance test results showed that the models developed by STI had delivered the desired results.clear practical effectiveness, which was highly appreciated by the Acceptance Council and recommended to be replicated for many other businesses in the province.
To ensure long-term effectiveness, STI representatives proposed four main points for businesses participating in the pilot model: continuing to operate and expand the scope of application of the implemented systems and tools; developing annual internal improvement plans and periodically evaluating the effectiveness of application; strengthening training and capacity building for internal personnel. In addition, it is necessary to actively share the results and experiences of implementation to spread the value of the model to other units in the same industry and sector throughout the province.
As the implementing unit, STI affirms its commitment to accompanying businesses in applying science and technology and innovation for sustainable development. The success of this project is proof of STI’s implementation capabilities and the value it brings to the local business community.
