This model not only helps businesses standardize production and operational processes but also builds a solid foundation for sustainable development, enhances competitiveness, and expands domestic and international markets.
Against the backdrop of increasing pressure on local businesses regarding quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, building and operating a management system based on international standards has become a strategic step to enhance internal capacity. Within the framework of the provincial-level science and technology project “Building a model for improving productivity and quality…”, four groups of advanced management tools have been piloted in businesses across diverse sectors, from food processing to construction, agricultural production, and agricultural services.
ISO 22000:2018 – Ensuring food safety from raw materials to the consumer.
The ISO 22000:2018 food safety management system is an essential tool that helps businesses tightly control hazards throughout the entire value chain, from raw materials and processing to storage and distribution. For Huong Dat An Phu Co., Ltd. and 30-4 Gia Lai Co., Ltd., both operating in the food processing sector, the application of ISO 22000 has contributed to improving product quality, enhancing safety, and building strong customer trust.
With expert support from STI Vietnam specialists, the company received thorough consultation in reviewing its current production processes, identifying potential hazards, developing HACCP documentation, and implementing internal training programs on quality control and food risk assessment. This process not only standardized operational procedures but also increased its ability to meet export standards and expand its domestic and international markets. The food safety management system became a solid foundation for businesses to enhance brand value and improve their competitive position in the market.

ISO 9001:2015 – Elevating quality management, driving continuous improvement
ISO 9001:2015 is a total quality management system that helps businesses establish and maintain processes and quality controls to best meet customer and market requirements. Tay Nguyen Macadamia Co., Ltd. and Anh Minh Dak Doa Agricultural and Service Cooperative have successfully built and implemented this system, thereby improving the efficiency of production and service management.
Project experts organized intensive training courses on ISO 9001 and the 7 QC Tool for staff and management, helping to improve awareness and management skills. The system of documents, procedures, work instructions, and control forms was standardized, facilitating internal audits, quality checks, and continuous improvement. As a result, process control capabilities were enhanced, product defect rates decreased, customer satisfaction improved significantly, contributing to increased reputation and market expansion for the businesses.

ISO 14001:2015 – Effective environmental management towards sustainable development
The Ia Hrú Agricultural and Forestry Cooperative and the Quang Nam – Gia Lai Construction and Installation Company Limited, two entities operating in the agricultural and construction sectors, have received consulting services to establish environmental management systems according to ISO 14001:2015 standards. Applying this standard helps these entities improve their ability to control environmental aspects of their production activities, comply with legal regulations, and minimize negative impacts on the environment.
The consulting process included site surveys, awareness training, and the development and standardization of documentation systems, internal control procedures, and evaluation processes. Businesses have gradually improved their environmental management systems, from identifying significant environmental aspects to implementing effective control measures. In addition, the practice of the 5S methodology in factories, offices, and construction sites has helped improve the working environment, enhance operational efficiency, and create a professional and environmentally friendly image.

ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational health and safety and 5S culture enhance performance.
In the fields of honey production and processing, and agricultural services, Phuong Di Bee Honey Cooperative and Nui Lu Agricultural Services Cooperative have built and applied an occupational health and safety management system according to ISO 45001:2018 standards, making a significant contribution to minimizing labor risks and improving working conditions.
Project experts coordinated surveys of the current situation, provided awareness training for staff and management, and developed procedures and documents for health and safety management. The implementation of the 5S best practices was carried out comprehensively to create a clean, safe, and scientific working environment, contributing to improved discipline and a sense of responsibility among employees. Through this, the units gradually formed a positive safety culture, while simultaneously improving productivity and business efficiency.

The synchronized implementation of advanced management systems according to international standards at eight exemplary enterprises in Gia Lai province is not merely about perfecting the management framework, but also a crucial turning point in the journey to improve productivity, product quality, labor safety, and environmental protection. Through this, the enterprises have gradually formed a foundation for modern management, contributing to fundamental changes in thinking and operating methods, aiming for sustainable development and increased competitiveness in regional and global markets.
