In the realm of international commerce, few certifications possess the pervasive significance of the CE Marking. Often likened to a “trade passport” for Europe, the CE mark indicates that a product complies with stringent regulations regarding safety, quality, and environmental protection. The possession of a CE mark denotes eligibility for free circulation within the European Union (EU) and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA).
TASA Group – A Large-Scale Construction Materials Enterprise
TASA Group Joint Stock Company was established on December 19, 2013, with its headquarters situated in the Thuy Van Industrial Zone, Viet Tri City, Phu Tho Province. As one of the premier entities in the construction materials manufacturing sector, TASA has rapidly asserted its position through its substantial scale and high-quality products.

- Fields of Operation: Manufacture of Ceramic and Granite tiles, large-format tiles, special effects tiles, and glazed ceramic roof tiles.
-
Scale: Eight modern production lines with a total capacity of 24 million m²/year, operating at 100% of design capacity.
-
Position: Ranked among the Top 5 construction materials companies in Vietnam in 2024.
-
Strategic Orientation: Transitioning from serving the domestic market to expanding exports to demanding markets such as Europe.
It is this foundation of large-scale operations and strategic orientation that renders the acquisition of the CE Marking an indispensable step in TASA’s internationalization roadmap. In this context, the pursuit of international standards becomes an inevitable choice.
2023 – Enterprise Announces CE Marking Compliance
On June 21, 2023, TASA Group officially completed the assessment and announced that its tile products had achieved the CE Marking. This milestone not only affirms quality according to European standards but also creates opportunities for a Vietnamese brand to progressively penetrate the EU market. Following this event, TASA began receiving attention from numerous international partners, laying the groundwork for export activities in the near future.

2025 – Consolidation and Expansion
In April 2025, STI continued to accompany TASA during the second assessment phase. The expert delegation conducted a comprehensive review of technical documentation, production processes, and testing standards in accordance with EU requirements. This was not merely a periodic inspection but also facilitated TASA’s deeper familiarization with rigorous regulations, gradually standardizing its management system to prepare for the expansion of certification to new product lines.
From the 2023 milestone to the consolidation phase in 2025, TASA Group has not only demonstrated its capability to meet CE Marking standards but has also constructed a sustainable management system, creating the premise for expanding certification to other products and progressively conquering the international market.

Why is the CE Marking a Strategic Move for TASA?
For the construction materials industry, the CE Marking is not merely a certificate; it is a mandatory prerequisite for products to be recognized and circulated in Europe. Three reasons underpin TASA Group’s determination to pursue this certification:
-
Legal Requirements: The CE mark confirms that the product complies with all EU regulations, directives, and standards regarding quality, health, safety, and the environment.
-
Competitive Advantage: In the context of globalization, the CE mark assists TASA in eliminating technical barriers, gaining direct access to supply chains and distribution systems within the EU.
-
Enhanced Brand Reputation: The CE mark holds value not only in Europe but is also recognized globally as clear evidence of compliance and product quality.
For TASA, the CE mark is not an “added value,” but an obligatory component of its internationalization roadmap.
STI Partnership – From Consulting to Practical Training
To conquer the European market, TASA Group selected STI Vietnam—an experienced consulting and training entity for international standards. Instead of focusing solely on “processing paperwork,” STI applied a roadmap of in-depth consulting, internal training, and direct support during the certification process, assisting the enterprise not only in achieving the CE Marking but also in building a sustainable operational system.
